Don't let yourself get all out of whack during the holidays!

✦𝘿𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙢 (There is no such thing as perfect - it's relative.)

✦𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣 𝙏𝙤 𝙎𝙖𝙮 "𝙉𝙤" ( We have limits, and FOMO is a real thing, but sometimes NO is the best response.)

✦𝙇𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙏𝙤 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝘽𝙤𝙙𝙮 ( If you are feeling run down & tired, take a rest.)

✦𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙯𝙚 𝙎𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙥 ( Sleep is your body's recovery system, if you aren't sleeping you will not be prepared for all the fun during the next day.)

✦𝙒𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙨 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 (Party food in moderation is totally fine, just don't forget the foundation of whole foods, eat them first. )

✦𝙈𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙮 (Even if you can't make it to the gym, you can still walk with a weighted vest, do up-downs on your stairs or air squats in your living room. )

🎄Start small and pick on of these habits to work on each week leading up to the holidays.

By the time they get here and are gone, you will be so well rested and mentally prepared that the normal "stress" of this time of year won't even hit you.

Here is a recap of last weeks Member appreciation week💚at CUU. It really was an awesome week!!

We had fun-filled workouts all created by our members favorite movements! We held raffles, gave away prizes and brought healthy foods in for pre and post workouts. More importantly, we collectively dug our heels in to difficult workouts, learned more about each other really came together as a group. Our members make CUU the premier welcoming spot! Walking through the doors IS the hardest part. Thank you CUU athletes for your dedication, commitment and kindness! We couldn’t do it without you!!

Decembah Membah spotlight goes to ERIN L! Erin has been consistently coming to CUU for 8 months and the gains she has made are HUGE! Total body composition shift, strength gains in smart & slow increases and consistently has some of the best form we've see in the gym! She disagrees when she's called a natural athlete but, she really is!
She's always first to step up and help another member (and coach!) out and is involved in animal rescue. We are lucky to have you as a staple in the gym!!💪
